Riley Instructions


Before installing make sure your template is set to Blogger’s Minima template .
To change your template to Minima: From your blog click “Customize” then “Layout” then “Pick New Template” from there click “Minima” hit save and your all set to install.

Sign into your Blogger account

From your Blogger Dashboard hit “Layout” under the blog you would like to edit

From the Layout page click on “Page Elements”

Click “Add a Gadget”

Choose “HTML/ Javascript”

Pate the background code into the content area

Click save from the “Add a Gadget” box

Click save on your Layout page

Header Instructions:

Right click on the header below

Click "Save image as" to save it to your desktop.

Open the image in your favorite image editor, Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, Powerpoint, your computer likely has an image editor installed on it, if not Paint.net or Gimp are great and both free to download if you are looking for an image editing program.

Once you open the image in your image editor personalize it with whatever title you would like it to have and then re-save the image.

Now log into your Blogger account and click on "Layout"

Click "Page Elements" if you are not already there

Click "Edit" on your header

Click "Browse" to locate the image you saved earlier, once you find it in your files click on it

Check the box that says: "Instead of Title and Description" (or else this will overlap the new header image you are placing there)

Click "Save"

Click "Save" again on your layout page



Sidebar Title Instructions:

Right click on each image to save to your desktop.

Now log into your Blogger account and click on "Layout"

Click "Page Elements" if you are not already there

Click "Add a Gadget"

Choose "Picture"

Click "Browse" to find the image you would like to upload

Click "Save"

Now drag that image gadget and place it above the widget it belongs with or labels. For example, if you just uploaded the sidebar title image that says "Followers" you will need to drag that image and place it just above followers on your page elements.
